I’m amazed. 12 percent of Americans approve of the way Congress is handling its job! Who are those guys? What do they see that the other 88 percent don’t? Are they all on soma (the drug in Huxley’s Brave New World)?

The poll results are not a surprise, it is like there is a race to the bottom.. There is so much fighting in Washington that nothing gets done. A lot of people want to blame the politicians, and that is okay because they should be leaders. But most of the blame needs to be placed on the American People, especially those in the middle, that have let the extreme elements of both parties take over. Just look at the majority of post on this or any sight. There is a lot of finger pointing, screaming and yelling, most of it by the radically far right that have convinced themselves they are a majority because they sit in echo chambers and yell the loudest. They ignore all facts and polls that go against their beliefs. The people that want to see something meaningful done need to stand up and be counted. They need to sign the True Fiscal Conservative Pledge. found at http://truefiscalconservative.blogspot.com/p/pledges.html Instead of participating in negative polls and shouting on post like this take the time to show the politicians we are tired and want them to work together.
